Carter Design Group were appointed to lead both the Architectural and Structural design of a ‘T-Annexe’ Building for Joint Force Harrier (JFH), provision of temporary decant accommodation; and refurbishment to two annexes on an existing hanger, including associated external works.
The single storey building was designed to include structural robustness and tying required to achieve necessary Counter Terrorism Measures in accordance with all MOD/DE Standards.
The project included full refurbishment of Hanger D annexes comprising single storey steel sheeting clad Airside Annex buildings including aircraft jet noise insulation, and replacement windows.
