Multi-Storey Car Park
Waitrose Campus, Bracknell

In order to support their expansion of the Bracknell Campus, our client Waitrose required additional, centralised parking provision on campus.

CDG provided full Architectural, Civil and Structural Engineering design services from concept to completion. Commencing with initial feasibility design in 2012 in competition with other design consultants and car park specialists. Delivery of Phase 1 in 2015, Phase 2 in 2018 and Phase 3 in 2019.

The construction comprised of a steel frame on piled foundations, with pre-cast planks for the decking and light-weight steel roof covering. The challenging site topography required bespoke design solutions, adopting VCM design layouts, with detailed consideration of levels completely eliminating the requirement for cut and fill.
