Klyne Air Business Aviation Centre, Norwich Airport

Carter Design Group provided full Architectural, Structural and Civil Engineering design services for the development of the state of the art Business Aviation Centre facility for Klyne Air at Norwich International Airport.

The building comprises of a three storey central core with hangars either side with associated workshop facilities.  The Ground Floor serves both private charter flights coming in to and out of Norwich Airport.  The First Floor is utilised as office space with the Second Floor included as lettable area for future tenancy or expansion.

The steel frame building clad with a flat panel insulation incorporates an expanse of curtain walling on the front façade.  This is protected from overheating by a brise soleil canopy construction.
