Holiday Inn Extension, Lincoln

Construction of new five storey extension to existing hotel in the centre of Lincoln.

CDG provided full Civil and Structural Engineering design services from concept to completion.  The design commenced in June 2019 with handover in September 2020.

The site was located to the rear of the existing building with minimal surrounding space for construction.

The building consisted of a specialist Structural Framing System (SFS) superstructure with concrete metal deck flooring.  The substructure was piled with suspended insitu reinforced concrete floor slabs and ground beams.
