Boadinghouse Wind Farm

Boardinghouse Wind Farm is a 5 turbine on shore project, located at Boardinghouse in March, Cambridgeshire. Each turbine weighs 149 tonnes, stands at 110m tall, and have an individual generation capacity of 2 MW, capable of generating sufficient renewable electricity to power approximately 7,536 UK homes.

Our Engineers team collaborated closely with the contractor to achieve an efficient design of access roads and working platforms, specifying a detailed geotechnical testing regime to build an accurate ground model, estimating settlements within the soft clay and peat stratum.

Our architects managed the planning process and developed a detailed design solution for the sub-station.
